Mom's Birthday
Fun times for Mom's birthday; started out the day with a fruit bouquet that I made, first attempt ever! Birthday cake come later in the evening: almond buttercream and white cake (Mom's fave) decorated with fondant and buttercream flowers. Grograin ribbon trim, maribou trimmed cake board, pearls dangled from metal swirl decorations.

What better way to test flavors then a big batch of cupcakes...even got Lindley and Richard involved!

Soccer Team Cake
French vanilla cake and vanilla/coconut buttercream; edging tool used to create grid lines. Cake/buttercream/fondant soccer balls. Special tip used to create a grass effect.
